Art Week Challenge and Miso Vinaigrette

I just had this article posted on Handmadeology "7 Projects to Snap You out of a Slump", which means for sure I have to do all of the projects listed - one for each day beginning Monday, April 11. Follow along here and do the projects, too! It should give you new ideas for your art - or it will just be for fun!

Here are two coin purses that sold yesterday on Etsy:

Last night for supper we had salmon on the grill with miso vinaigrette sauce. Here is the recipe for the sauce - you could use it on anything!

Miso Vinaigrette (it's vegan! - just don't put it on salmon if you are vegan)

2 1/2 T white miso
2 T fresh lemon juice (I squeezed a whole lemon in there)
1 T chili sauce (use anything you have to give it a little heat)
2 T rice wine vinegar
1 1/2 tsp chopped garlic
1 1/2 tsp shallot (use a little onion if you don't have shallot)
3 T peeled and finely chopped fresh ginger (I use a jar of ginger kept in the fridge)
2 T soy sauce
1 T dry sherry or mirin
1 tsp sugar
2T sesame oil

Throw it all into a blender. Blend it until smooth. You're done!
